Traveling by Plane
If want to travel by plane, we recommend flying to Oslo Airport, Gardermoen (OSL). Checking flights is easy and we usually use Google Flights. From there you can take the train to Arvika.
From OSL to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S)
The easiest way to get from the airport to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S) is by train. Tickets can be bought via the Ruter app or at one of the ticket machines.
From Oslo S to Arvika
You can buy tickets through the SJ app on either Android or iOS, or you can use the SJ website, whichever method works best for you.
Traveling by Train
Depending on where you're traveling from, we recommend a Interrail Pass. Prices range from €212 to €283 for a 4 days in a month pass. You can find more information about the Interrail Pass on their website.
Traveling by Car
Driving to Glaskogen Nature Reserve offers flexibility and convenience. You can use GPS or maps app to find the best route for you. If your trip involves driving via Denmark, you can purchase a ticket for both the Puttgarden-Rødby ferry and the Øresund Bridge on the Scandlines website.
Traveling by Bus
If you're traveling by bus you probably use Flixbus. We recommend traveling to Karlstad and take a train to Arvika, or going to Årjäng and taking a bus to Arvika from there. You can find information and buy tickets for the local busses on the Varmland website.
